Elise graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise and Sports Science from Western Washington and then worked in the Physical Therapy field as an aide and Patient Service Coordinator for several years before returning to school to earn her Physical Therapist Assistant Degree.
Elise is passionate about helping others achieve their rehabilitation goals as well as overall health and wellness goals. As a previous high school and collegiate athlete, she has years of experience with various team and individual sports including swimming, water polo, gymnastics and yoga. She recently pursued a long-time goal of becoming a registered yoga instructor. Her athletic history, clinical education and certifications allow Elise to create unique rehabilitation programs catered to individual skill levels. Elise will use a myriad of techniques to assist patients achieve their goals, such as: myofascial decompression, kinesiotape, blades or instrument assisted manual therapy, and of course her training in yoga and applied functional science as the backbone.
Elise has an ambitious personality which drives her to continuously learn and find new ways to help others improve their physical health as well as improve their personal mind-body connection and feel supported and encouraged throughout the process. Elise spends her free time strengthening her own yoga practice, teaching yoga, exploring the NW, improving her culinary skills, and spending time with family.
Currently, Elise serves as our yoga instructor, strength and conditioning class coordinator, assists in carrying out rehabilitation programs for clients and serves as a strong advocate for healthy living and nutrition by providing workshops open to the public.
