Recovery Through Soft Tissue Manipulation
Improved athletic performance
Better range of motion
Faster recovery time
Immediate pain relief
Human bodies have an abundance of tissues, including both soft and hard tissues. Soft tissues, which have four types: connective tissue, epithelial tissue, muscle tissue, and nervous tissue, are found throughout the body. Our muscles, blood vessels, lymph vessels, and nerves are all soft tissues. Any sprain, strain, or contusion of ligaments and tendons are known as a soft tissue injury.

Any injury to soft tissues can cause chronic pain if not treated by an expert. The chiropractic technique is best suitable to treat such injuries and manage pain compared taking medications. It provides a variety of treatment to stiff, immobile soft tissues. It can also be used to help mobilize scar tissue, thereby preventing long-term recurrence of swelling or infection.
The soft tissue manipulation technique is applied by chiropractors to reduce pain, relax muscles, improve motion and blood circulation to the injured area, and restore strength.
A chiropractor applies a custom treatment plan according to the scale of injury. It may include gentle movement of muscles, manual traction, tool assisted treatment or trigger point therapy to relieve pain. Collectively, it aids in pain relief, increases blood circulation to reduce swelling, and relieves muscle tension. These all support the faster recovery of soft tissue injuries.
Soft Tissue manipulation is often performed by Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, Acupuncturists and Massage Therapists
