Briar Stratas strives to create a safe and caring space where their clients can let go of tension, heal, and reconnect with their bodies.  Briar believes that the most effective bodywork comes through communication, trust, and collaboration, ensuring that every session supports the unique needs and wellness goals of each client.

Briar’s specialties include myofascial release, deep tissue massage, post-surgical scar tissue mobilization, injury recovery, and trauma-informed care.  They utilize a diverse blend of treatment-focused techniques to address patterns of tension through caring touch.

Briar comes from a background in the arts, having earned a BFA in sculpture, and worked in the film industry before pivoting into the massage field.  They still spend much of their free time creating art, including sculpture, painting, and drawing.  When not massaging or creating, Briar can usually be found exploring nature, connecting with their community, or watching DVDs with their cats.
