Functional Medicine resident

There are many ways to assess a person’s health and wellbeing. Equating health to ideal blood pressure or BMI is a disservice to patients and potentially dangerous. A good appetite, healthy sleep, absence of symptoms and balanced mental health are just a few of the objectives for the Functional Medicine provider when helping each patient achieve their goals.

Growing up in both North America and Asia has given Dr. Lin a deep appreciation for the uniqueness of every patient’s background. Understanding the cultural and social determinants in health strongly influence his approach to utilizing nutrition, botanical medicine and pharmaceuticals to create a truly individualized approach to patient care.
His clinical interests include endocrine / hormonal management, fertility, men’s, and women’s health as well as regenerative therapies.

Dr. Lin is a firm believer that health goes beyond just the absence of disease, and with the right guidance and tools, optimal health is within reach to everyone. The aim is to empower his patients to take control of their health through achievable steps, each building on the other. The kind of access and in-depth analysis that Vida’s FM Concierge membership provides, is ideal for reaching one’s own potential.

Dr. Lin considers himself a “Foodie”. Anything relating to the culinary arts is what he spends his free time immersed in, from watching “Chef’s Table” to trying out a new recipe. Eating a home cooked meal in his backyard while reading a Brandon Sanderson novel is his idea of time well spent.
