Dr. Brandilyn Binstock

Brandilyn Binstock is a Functional Medicine Physician specializing in integrative primary care with broad clinical interests. She has additional specialty training in gastrointestinal conditions, autoimmune conditions, mast cell and allergy conditions, hypermobility spectrum disorders, cardiometabolic disorders, iron deficiency and anemia.

Dr. Binstock is committed to finding clinical answers for her patients and being up to date on effective and evidence-based therapies. Her medical decision-making is guided by a philosophy of identifying and intervening in underlying disruptions in health, in addition to, treating intolerable or health-compromising symptoms.

Her training is informed by a background in conventional medicine and research, as well as naturopathic and functional medical training.

After graduating from Bastyr, Dr. Binstock completed a three-year residency at the Bastyr Center for Natural Health (BCNH), the teaching clinic of Bastyr University, with the final year as the Chief Resident Physician at BCNH, where she was a mentor and supervisor to resident physicians and medical students.

It was during her residency that she also completed the Functional Medicine Practitioner certification through The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).

Dr. Binstock has great interest and passion for working alongside medical students and resident physicians. She feels strongly about teaching the merging of functional medicine diagnostics and conventional standard of care with an integrative approach to treatment.

She currently maintains an adjunctive position at BCNH, supervising medical students and resident physicians in the training of primary care, Functional Medicine and intravenous therapy. She also regularly lectures on emergency medicine for primary care physicians, iron deficiency and intravenous iron therapy and hypermobility spectrum disorders.
