Jacqui Lombari, MS, CNS, LDN
Jacqui brings a unique blend of experience from both conventional and functional medicine settings. After five years as a technician in the emergency department, she was inspired to join a movement where nutrition is central to health promotion and disease prevention.
A Spanish immersion program in Guatemala marked a turning point in her life, highlighting the therapeutic role of nutrition while she treated her Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO). This experience deepened her commitment to functional medicine and sparked her educational journey in nutrition.
She has a passion for sports nutrition that stems from her love of trail running and ultramarathon training in Arizona. She looks forward to optimizing athletic performance through nutrition periodization, proper hydration, and efficient recovery strategies. She understands the importance of working with the physiology of active females and hopes to provide the tools and support for all women in sports and health. Additional interest includes addressing inflammation that stems from imbalances through whole food nutrition, nutraceuticals, and botanicals.
Jacqui has extensive experience in recommending and implementing personalized therapeutic dietary interventions. This includes, but is not limited to, the Elimination Diet, LOW FODMAP Diet, Low Histamine Diet, and Wahls Protocol. She understands the unique interactions between gastrointestinal function and the immune system, aiming to support those who seek to optimize their health starting with the gut.
Jacqui lives with her fiancé, Jordon, and their border collie mix, Rhodes. She enjoys exploring the desert through hiking, running, and camping, and delights in creating delicious meals for friends and family.
