RENTON

Kimmy’s path to physical therapy came from an interest in both fitness and healthcare. She started by volunteering at the WSU PT clinic in her senior year and she knew she was in the right field. She spent the next few years helping patients through their exercise progressions and recovery while finishing a separate degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Kimmy has never looked back and continues to bring her depth of knowledge in exercise physiology to her physical therapy patients. Kimmy approaches the body as a whole and develops a dynamic and fully customized treatment plan that built to get each patient to their desired goals. As a PTA she provides the knowledge and confidence that patients need to take control of their own health. She believes movement is the best medicine; physically and mentally. A quote that stuck with her since her first day of PTA school “motion is lotion”. This idea that the body was built to move (and is healthier when it does) is the cornerstone of physical therapy.

During her free time, Kimmy enjoys adventuring in the great outdoors of the PNW. Summertime includes hiking, camping, backpacking, and road trips. Wintertime includes snowshoeing and snowboarding. If she’s not outside; she works out at the gym, spending time with her family and friends, babysitting her niece and nephew on Fridays, or trying new restaurants.
