Massage Therapist

Majinn (MAH-jin) (They/Them) is a queer, mixed-race Black dance artist and educator who became called to do massage through working on their fellow artists. Majinn has fibromyalgia and has a deep understanding of how chronic pain and fatigue affects quality of life. Their purpose in becoming a massage therapist is to be able to better serve their communities with empathy, education and a healing touch while helping create more accessibility for massage.

Majinn’s massages are customized for each client. They have experience in Swedish, deep tissue, cupping, Gua Sha, and sports massage. Majinn strives to deepen their knowledge of each massage modality, especially sports massage, so that they can help as many people as possible maximize the longevity of healthy movement for every person and body.

Majinn believes that to be the best version of their self, they need to continuously push their own comfort zone and this passion for knowledge shows up in their dance career as well as massage. Outside of massage, Majinn works to help guide people in becoming more confident and connected to their bodies, find joy in their movement and be able to speak their voices through Black social dance forms throughout Seattle. They also unwind by playing video games, watching anime, and are constantly listening to music.
