Michaela Wehner

Michaela Wehner, MAc, LAc, EAMP

Acupuncturist

Michaela’s practice is informed by a holistic perspective that addresses the physical, emotional, and spiritual capacities for healing innate to every individual. An early interest in Buddhist and Yogic philosophies led her to practice meditation in a number of traditions, and train as a yoga teacher.

Michaela has worked as a counselor for students at the University of Washington, and brings a trauma-informed perspective to her work as an acupuncturist. She is fascinated by the body’s ability to heal, and currently focuses on sports acupuncture, injury recovery, and pain management, utilizing a combination of traditional acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation to obtain deep and lasting results.

Michaela is an avid meditator and yoga practitioner, and loves to experiment with fermentation recipes. She loves water sports, nature walks, textile crafts, and reading. Michaela lives with her partner, and is currently dogless.
