Nicholas has been practicing massage in an injury treatment setting since 2021 and the work has been incredibly rewarding. His path to this profession was guided by empathy for the stress and hard work that all people endure. He uses Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release techniques in order to facilitate relaxation and healing. Massage has meant the world to Nicholas, both as a means of self-care and as a method of nurturing others.
As of November 2023, Nicholas has completed certification in manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) as taught by Klose Training. This gentle modality focuses on helping water, proteins, fat, and cellular debris find their way back to lymph nodes for processing and recirculation in the bloodstream. The most common recipients of MLD are people suffering from lymphedema or post-surgical swelling, but the techniques are often sought by those dealing with migraines, auto-immune disorders, and other conditions for which myofascial massage is too painful to receive.
When not working, Nicholas enjoys baking, gaming, reading science fiction novels, and taking long walks around the city. Please feel free to call him Nick.
