Dr. Tim Clanton, DC

Doctor of Chiropractic

Grew up in the Southwest corner of Wisconsin in the very small city of Prairie Du Chien. He enjoyed playing many different sports such as basketball, golf, football, hockey volleyball and tennis. After high school, Dr. Clanton attended the University of Wisconsin- River Falls studying Biology and Chemistry. He knew he wanted a career in chiropractic when he job-shadowed numerous practitioners, which sparked his interest in the chiropractic profession. Following his undergraduate work, he moved to Minneapolis in 1998 to attend Northwestern Health Sciences University to obtain his Doctorate of Chiropractic.

He then moved to Seattle to start his career and worked for two years in a private practice before coming to Northwest Chiropractic Center in 2003. Since then, he has worked with the University of Washington athletes since 2006 in the athletic training room. He has extensive training in mechanical and soft tissue rehabilitation and is certified in Graston technique. He also utilizes a variety of chiropractic techniques with the goal of helping patients achieve fast, long lasting results from chiropractic care.

Dr. Clanton and his wife, Caedin (Dr. Pettigrew) have a daughter, son, dog Bistow, cat Luna and the occasional adopted bugs and other wildlife caught by their adventurous kids.

Dr. Clanton was also voted “Best in Seattle” by his peers and published in the Seattle Metropolitan Magazine as one of the “Top Doctors 2014”.
