Aiko Araki, DPT
Aiko Araki, graduated from Whittier College in sunny Southern California with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology and Nutrition Sciences and a minor in Spanish. She continued her study of the human body at Chapman University where she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy.After completing school, she pursued a certification in Vestibular Rehabilitation by the American Institute of Balance to better treat those with balance issues, dizziness and vertigo type symptoms. She has experience in a variety of orthopedic conditions across the healthcare spectrum, treating numerous patient populations ranging from post operative to those wanting physical fitness improvement.
As a runner herself, she has an interest in treating runners and helping them return to the racing world to compete. In her pursuit of life-long learning, Aiko surrounds herself with experienced clinicians to provide an eclectic approach to functional rehabilitation.
Aiko moved from California to Seattle to explore the Pacific Northwest. She is an aspiring backpacker, avid hiker, and an accomplished distance runner. While at home, she enjoys immersing herself in a good book, experimenting with new recipes, playing board games with friends, or taking her dog on walks with her husband.
