Genevieve Johnson, Physical Therapist Assistant - Vida Integrated Health, Seattle

Genevieve Johnson

Physical Therapy Assistant

Genevieve joined the Vida family after graduating from Pima Medical Institute where she earned her Physical Therapist Assistant degree. As a student she was placed at Vida during her first clinical rotation and fell in the love with the integrated/team approach. Previous education includes a Bachelor of Science in Natural Science degree from Ashford University where she played on the Women’s basketball team. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Washington to pursue her Physical Therapy career and to start a family. Genevieve is currently an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and as a life-long learner she strives to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the future.

Being a part of the Vida family is a perfect fit for Genevieve as she’s always been on a team. She’s played a myriad of sports from youth to college including baseball, softball, soccer, basketball, volleyball and rugby. She is adaptable to each and every patient’s needs as every human being is unique.  One of her strengths is communication and utilizes that with her team by coming together to assist in carrying out the best “game plan” personalized for each patient. Genevieve’s goal as a therapist is to not only help her patient’s reach his or her rehabilitation goals, but to maintain them by providing education and tools to stay pain-free and active.

To stay active, Genevieve continues her passion of basketball by playing in a women’s recreational league. She loves exploring the PNW by hiking, snowboarding, golfing, running half marathons and finding new adventures. As a Chicago native, she’s a die-hard Cubs fan and also takes interest in pyrography.
