“Never Forget That You Have Every Right To Have A Satisfying Sex Life”.

         –  Dr. Ruth Westheimer, from her book, Sexually Speaking

Our Functional Medicine approach is a personalized approach to your sexual health care including assessment of hormones, nutrient status, and mental health.

We go beyond basic hormonal assessment to help you achieve the best version of you and look at all the prerequisite steps for libido activation, physical response to arousal, and ability to achieve orgasm in both men and women.

We use natural and pharmaceutical agents to support our patients in addition to cutting edge therapies like Acoustic Wave Therapy (Shockwave) and PRP (platelet rich plasma) for erectile and orgasm enhancement, in men and women, respectively.

Female PRP Shot for Orgasm Enhancement

If you’re looking for a way to improve your sex life, the Female PRP-Shot may be right for you. This unique treatment can help to increase your libido, improve sexual sensation, and make sex more enjoyable.

The Female PRP Shot for Orgasm Enhancement is a nonsurgical procedure that uses a woman’s own tissue, PRP (platelet rich plasma), extracted during a simple blood draw. The blood is drawn into FDA-approved vacutainers (tubes) and spun down using an FDA approved centrifuge.

This vibrant substance, contains white blood cells, growth factors, and concentrated nutrients to revitalize and enhance female erectile tissue (yes, woman have it too!). This treatment, in response, enhances sexual pleasure. The procedure activates localized healing processes that accentuate clitoral function, lubrication response, and orgasmic intensification.

What is the procedure like?

The procedure begins with a basic blood draw from the patient’s arm in our in-house lab. The patient is then escorted into a treatment/procedure room where a liberal amount of topical numbing cream is applied for comfort for 20-30 minutes. For further local anesthesia, a small amount of lidocaine is injected around the vaginal tissue to eliminate any discomfort.

The PRP extracted during the blood draw is then precisely injected into sensual areas of the clitoris and vagina. This includes unique positioning into the g-spot tissue which is also known for enhanced pleasure. The procedure takes approximately 5 minutes once the numbing cream has set. The process is very safe and effective.

Women may experience local swelling, bruising, and discomfort for 1-2 days following the procedure. As PRP is antimicrobial in nature, infection risk is extremely low. Normal activities, including sexual intercourse, can be resumed same day. Full benefit is typically seen by 6 weeks post-procedure. Benefits may last 6 months -2 years depending on age and health of the woman receiving the treatment..

Conditions Treated with Female PRP for Orgasm Enhancement

Female Sexual Arousal Disorder
The frustrating condition of not being able to become adequately aroused. When women become sexually stimulated, lubrication and muscle relaxation typically follow. When it does not, it can be frustrating and feel like a rejection of one’s partner. Incidence is 1/20 women conservatively (Obstetrics & Gynecology April 2011). Often will accompany hypoactive sexual desire disorder.
Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder
(Low desire). Around 10-40% of women suffer with this problem, depending on the data set. A disinterest in sex that leads to distress is the foundation of this condition. Often PRP for Orgasm Enhancement is done in combination with other therapeutics designed to enhance the neurochemical side of desire.
Female Orgasmic Disorder
Again around 1 in 20 (or 5%). Here women can become aroused but have significant difficulty with achieving orgasm. This can lead to loss of interest and desire due to inability to climax. PRP shot for Orgasm Enhancement can be a primary treatment tool in managing this condition.

Shockwave and Acoustic Wave Therapy for Women

Acoustic wave therapy also known as shockwave, is a revolutionary treatment that was initially designed for help managing orthopedic and, later on, male erectile dysfunction conditions. Shockwave is a very safe procedure using acoustic wave pulsations delivered at a low intensity for tissue regeneration and healing.

The mechanism by which it is effective is to bring more blood flow to the desired areas with 6-12 treatments.

Shockwave treatments are an adjunct to the female PRP orgasm enhancement procedure that does not involve any injection therapy. This procedure helps to stimulate the clitoral and surrounding erectile tissue complex. The procedure is painless and does not require any downtime following treatment.

Expected Treatment Results

Enhanced arousal from clitoral stimulation

Improved buoyancy and texture of vaginal tissue
Tightening of vaginal opening
Improved lubrication and stronger orgasms
Decreased urinary stress incontinence.

Male PRP Shot for Erectile Enhancement

The Male PRP Shot is a revolutionary treatment for erectile dysfunction and other men’s sexual health issues, performed by Dr. Michelle Leary, ND, IFMC.  It is a minimally invasive procedure that uses platelet rich plasma (PRP) derived from the patient’s own blood to stimulate long-lasting erectile function, increased sensation and improved erections.

This therapy is used for healing and building new tissues in the male erectile tissue of the penis. This tissue, when injected with the man’s own platelet rich plasma, helps to stimulate growth of new blood vessels, repair damaged nerve cells in the penis, and support vascular flow for stronger and more lasting erectile function.

Injections of PRP are performed in very specific areas of the penis following numbing application of a topical agent as well as injectable lidocaine for the patient’s comfort. The male PRP shot for erectile enhancement is a non-surgical procedure that allows for results to be seen within days two weeks of injection therapy.

It is highly recommended for all patients to use a medical-grade penis pump following injections as this will significantly augment results. This treatment is a widely successful and increasingly studied procedure that offers men a safe and effective way of treating erectile dysfunction using their own, unique components found in PRP. For optimal results with male PRP for Erectile Enhancement regular exercise, healthy diet, and regular sleep are important factors ahead of any procedure.

What is the procedure like?

The procedure begins with a basic blood draw from the patient’s arm in our in-house lab. The patient is then escorted into a treatment/procedure room where a liberal amount of topical numbing cream is applied locally for comfort for 20-30 minutes. For further local anesthesia, a small amount of lidocaine is injected around the base of the penis to eliminate any discomfort.

The PRP extracted during the blood draw is then precisely injected into specific areas of the penis. The procedure takes approximately 5 minutes once the numbing cream has set. The process is very safe and effective. Utilization of medical-grade penis pump for 10 minutes following procedure is highly recommended to optimize outcome.

Men may experience local swelling, bruising, and discomfort for 1-2 days following the procedure. As PRP is antimicrobial in nature, infection risk is extremely low. Normal activities, including sexual intercourse, can be resumed same day. Full benefit is typically seen by 6 weeks post-procedure. Benefits may last 6 months -2 years depending on age and health of the man receiving treatment.
